Best action scenes in fiction?

I don't really read action books but I have read Winter by John Marsden. I didn't really like it that much because I had to read an Australian book for English (I'm Aussie, hehe). I went to the cinema not long ago and I saw a trailer for the Tomorrow series by John Marsden. It looked really good. You should get it out.
