My stepmother is an alcoholic and prescription drug user,question inside...?

Post-three months ago when she moved in with us,I thought she was an alright (sometimes overchatty) woman of 47.Then yesterday when I drove home from school,I found her dozing off in her computer chair (she's on Unemployment until July when she'll try to get a CPA licesence) but anyway,my father told me she has been occasionally abusing pills and vodka.My own mother abused pills and later on alcohol,but she's recovering.Anyway,I think this is eating my father up and it's making me uncomfortable to have her here now.I want her to go to one of those all-woman substance abuse recovery homes,but I need to know more on them and maybe what they are actually called.This has apparently gone on for the last few months without my knowledge,but I deeply appreciate any help or advice anyone can offer.Thank you.
