Is it right an MP cant be arrested while parliament is sitting?

I am thinking of Damien Green of course.I am e mailing my (labour) MP about this.I have never been so shocked.The civil war started when Charles the 1st ordered the arrest of an MP.This I believe is why the Queen is not allowed in the commons. What if the police had arrested a Moslem MP under the Terrorist Act,riots on the streets??
