Is the Michelin MXV4 a good tire?

I was recently looking to get a new tire, because my tires don't do the job anymore in these Illinois winters. so i was wondering for snow traction and overall if these are good tires. I'm looking to buy these at $100 a tire installed + tax ( is this a good price for these ). Or if any of you are good with tires could you recommend some.
