Would you spend last few days with your ex if you know he is about to die?

i broke up with my bf after 2years.he loved me sooooooooooo much n told me that he wanted to kill himself.I stayed with him for some days to think about our relationship again.but i had been telling him that there is not much hope to come back with him again.i treated him not like before.i was so cold with him n the result was that he became cold too n he didnt want to kill himself anymore.i dont know what i did.but i know that my behaviour make him cold too n his love became less than before.he still loves me but not like before...i hope u understand me...
